Our pediatric therapists are Georgia licensed speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists who provide skilled pediatric rehabilitation services to children from infants to young adults with a variety of developmental or acquired disorders. We have successfully helped children reach their fullest potential since 2014 in our clinical setting and since 2020 via our teletherapy platform.

Mrs. Brooke., M.Ed.,CCC-SLP

Founder & CEO
Speech Language Pathologist


Brooke is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist. She received her Master's Degree from Valdosta St. University, Valdosta GA. She is a native of Atlanta, GA who has worked with both adults & children with various disabilities and differences for over 20 years! Brooke combined years of quality speech therapy services, excellent managerial experience and an everlasting TEAM spirit to facilitate the warm and growing environment of Therapy Works...now celebrating it's 10 year anniversary this year (2024)!  She is a member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association as well as other local and national organizations. Although recognized and published as a Worldwide Leader in Healthcare, Brooke is motivated by and most proud of each time a parent exhibits a gleam of excitement when witnessing their child reach an unexpected and/or highly anticipated milestone. 

Mrs. Tresa

Client & Clinician Engagement Coordinator


Tresa was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the Therapy Works Team in 2022 as an office manager, but due to her dynamic approach with connecting with people, is now our Client & Clinician Engagement Coordinator!  She is a committed and highly engaging executive assistant with multi-industry experience, specializing in event and meeting planning, scheduling and calendaring, program and project management, communications and correspondence, budgeting and expenditures, reporting and documentation, stakeholder relations, IT support, and travel arrangements. Tresa excels at serving as an essential gatekeeper, helping control the workflow to better engage and support the Therapy Works team & families! Tresa is a driven and dynamic producer who empowers both staff, leadership and families to better grow and flourish. 

Mrs. Summer., M.S.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist-Lead
Clinical Training Specialist


Summer is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her master’s degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AG. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2006. She has performed diagnosis and treatment of receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, aural rehabilitation, articulation, phonological processing, oral-motor functioning disorders, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders in infants, pre-school and school-aged children. Summer has experience with individual and group therapy, augmentative communication (including picture and device-based communication), and social stories. Currently, Summer is a m ember of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as other local and national organizations. Her therapy approach is functional, dynamic, and targeted to produce the highest outcomes for each client.

Dr. Marissa., PT, DPT, 
Cert. DN, Cert. VRS, CCI

Doctor of Physical Therapy-Lead


Dr. Marissa Sellers is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pediatric and pelvic health physical therapy. Common pediatric pelvic health conditions that she treats include constipation and bedwetting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College and with Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. She also has post-graduate training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Sellers enjoys helping children and families reach their goals and live the best quality of life possible. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Lis., M.S.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist


Mrs. Lis has been a speech-language pathologist for well over a decade. She has experience working with children in schools, daycares, their natural setting, and in clinics. Mrs. Lis has also worked with adults in the clinic setting. While she enjoys many aspects of speech therapy, her niche is articulation therapy. When Mrs. Lis isn’t working, she enjoys dancing, nature, and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Sharay., M.Ed.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist


Mrs. Sharay is so excited to work with your child at Therapy Works! She has been practicing for 2 years as a speech and language pathologist; with 5 years' experience in special education. Sharay graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Kennesaw State University, and a master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University. She loves to witness the growth of every child through the development of communication!!

Ms. Tyren., M.A.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist


Ms. Tyren is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Master’s degree from South Carolina State University in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Ms. Tyren is a member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA). She has 7 years of experience in individual and group speech therapy, working with children in a variety of settings including pediatric clinics, schools (elementary, middle, and high school), daycares, and natural home settings. Ms. Tyren enjoys helping and witnessing children reach their communication goals. In her free time, Ms. Tyren enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Ms. Jennifer., M.S.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist


Ms. Jennifer has been a speech-language pathologist for well over a decade. She has experience working with both adults in children in a variety of settings.  At Therapy Works, Ms. Jennifer is the lead therapist working with bright scholars in our school-based setting.  Mrs. Jennifer focuses on developing and improving scholar's speech-language abilities for personal and academic success! When Ms. Jennifer is away from impacting speech and language skills, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with family & friends and showing special love and attention to her growing daughter.

Mrs. Kassidy., OTR/L

Occupational Therapist


Mrs. Kassidy is a registered and licensed occupational therapist all the way from Maine. She received her masters degree from the University of Southern Maine in 2021 and has been working with children for the past 10 years in various settings. Helping children grow and develop has always been a passion of hers. Outside of work, she likes to spend time with family and two dogs. Mrs. Kassidy welcomed a baby girl to the family in July 2023!

Mrs. Deidre., OTR/L

Occupational Therapist


Deidre is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and her master’s degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. She is native to Georgia and has served the pediatric population in various capacities for the last 15 years. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Being able to witness a child’s skills grow, along with their confidence, is one of the main reasons she chose Occupational Therapy. She is happily married to her husband and they share a daughter.

Mrs. Michelle., M.Ed.,CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist


Michelle is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist. She received her master’s degree from Valdosta St. University, Valdosta GA. She is a native of Valdosta, GA with experience working in diverse settings including skilled nursing facilities, home health, schools, and private clinics. She has treated adults and children of various disabilities for over 15 years. Michelle combines years of speech therapy services, managerial experience, and caregiver coaching to facilitate consistent progress in her sessions. She is a member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) and has been published in the ASHA Leader. Michelle gets super pumped each time a parent displays excitement when their child reaches a goal.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant


Kimberly is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapy Assistant serving our school-based scholars! She received her Bachelors degree from Georgia College and State University and her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from Middle Georgia State University. She has a wide variety of experience working with children in various age groups. Her dedication to therapy stems from a large passion for people and fostering an environment that allows individuality. Kimberly has experience with individual and group based therapy interventions, with a central focus on sensory processing, visual motor skills, visual perceptual and coping skills. Her therapy approach is client-centered and tailored uniquely to each child and their specific sensory and cognitive needs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs.
