Founder & CEO

Speech-Language Pathologist

Brooke is the founder and CEO of WBT Therapy Works Inc., a fully virtual pediatric practice providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy to families wherever they are. A licensed, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist since 2002, she has spent more than two decades serving children and adults with a wide range of communication needs, disabilities, and differences.


Brooke founded the practice in 2014. In 2022, she led the practice's full transition to telehealth, driven by a conviction that has guided her work ever since: where a family lives shouldn't limit the care their child receives. Today she leads a team of over 20 clinicians and support staff, with a leadership team overseeing clinical and practice operations. Her work has shifted from the therapy room to building the people, systems, and culture that make excellent virtual care possible at scale, including a caregiver-coaching model that puts parents at the center of their child's progress.


Brooke holds a Master of Education from Valdosta State University, is a graduate of the Women's Entrepreneurial Initiative (WEI) accelerator, and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a proud Atlanta native.


Brooke no longer sits in on sessions herself, but the moment that matters most hasn't changed: a parent's face lighting up as their child reaches a milestone, whether it's one they've long hoped for or one nobody saw coming. Distance has never dimmed that joy. Building a team means it now happens across more families every day than she could ever have reached alone.

Janice is an Atlanta native and experienced operations and business management professional with a background supporting growing organizations across healthcare, professional services, creative agencies, and other service-based industries. She specializes in strengthening day-to-day operations, improving processes, managing projects, supporting teams, and creating systems that help organizations operate more efficiently.


Janice is passionate about creating structure that allow both people and organizations to thrive. She enjoys helping teams feel supported, developing solutions that make work easier, and creating positive experiences for the clients and families an organization serves. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for operational excellence to the Therapy Works team.



Outside of work, Janice enjoys serving in her church and community, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and putting her creativity to use through design and special projects.

Deidre is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and her master’s degree from Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. She is native to Georgia and has served the pediatric population in various capacities for the last 15 years. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Being able to witness a child’s skills grow, along with their confidence, is one of the main reasons she chose Occupational Therapy. She is happily married to her husband and they share a daughter.

Tresa was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the Therapy Works Team in 2022 as an office manager, but due to her dynamic approach with connecting with people, is now our Client & Clinician Engagement Coordinator!  She is a committed and highly engaging executive assistant with multi-industry experience, specializing in event and meeting planning, scheduling and calendaring, program and project management, communications and correspondence, budgeting and expenditures, reporting and documentation, stakeholder relations, IT support, and travel arrangements. Tresa excels at serving as an essential gatekeeper, helping control the workflow to better engage and support the Therapy Works team & families! Tresa is a driven and dynamic producer who empowers both staff, leadership and families to better grow and flourish.

Summer is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her master’s degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AG. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2006. She has performed diagnosis and treatment of receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, aural rehabilitation, articulation, phonological processing, oral-motor functioning disorders, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders in infants, pre-school and school-aged children. Summer has experience with individual and group therapy, augmentative communication (including picture and device-based communication), and social stories. Currently, Summer is a m ember of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as other local and national organizations. Her therapy approach is functional, dynamic, and targeted to produce the highest outcomes for each client.

Dr. Marissa Sellers is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pediatric and pelvic health physical therapy. Common pediatric pelvic health conditions that she treats include constipation and bedwetting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College and with Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. She also has post-graduate training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Sellers enjoys helping children and families reach their goals and live the best quality of life possible. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Lis has been a speech-language pathologist for well over a decade. She has experience working with children in schools, daycares, their natural setting, and in clinics. Mrs. Lis has also worked with adults in the clinic setting. While she enjoys many aspects of speech therapy, her niche is articulation therapy. When Mrs. Lis isn’t working, she enjoys dancing, nature, and spending time with family and friends.

Michelle is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist. She received her master’s degree from Valdosta St. University, Valdosta GA. She is a native of Valdosta, GA with experience working in diverse settings including skilled nursing facilities, home health, schools, and private clinics. She has treated adults and children of various disabilities for over 15 years. Michelle combines years of speech therapy services, managerial experience, and caregiver coaching to facilitate consistent progress in her sessions. She is a member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) and has been published in the ASHA Leader. Michelle gets super pumped each time a parent displays excitement when their child reaches a goal.

She received her Master’s degree from the University of Southern California and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University. She is certified as a lymphedema therapist and a pelvic floor rehabilitation practitioner. She has worked as an occupational therapist for the last 15 years, serving diverse populations in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics in California. Her passion is to help children grow, engage, and develop skills for living. Yuko is delighted to be a part of the great team at Therapy Works, serving children and families throughout Georgia.

Mrs. Deanna is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist. She received both her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy degrees from Kean University in New Jersey. She has been practicing for the past six years, primarily serving the pediatric population in various settings including outpatient, early intervention and school-based therapy. She loves to get creative with session activities and find fun ways to increase functional performance to help her kiddos grow! She is happily married and has an adorable baby boy. Mrs. Deanna is thrilled to join the Therapy Works team and work with their amazing families!

She received her masters degree from the University of Central Florida in 2022 and has been working with children for the past 8 years in various settings. Her leadership includes mentoring SLPAs and interns, writing SEL curriculum, and driving equity-focused initiatives. Michelle champions inclusive, measurable communication strategies that empower individuals and communities alike.

Mrs. Jennifer is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Master's degree from the University of Utah in 2020 and is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has 5 years of overall experience working in several settings: school-based, outpatient pediatric, early intervention, and skilled nursing facility. She moved around in her childhood and now as a military spouse, living in a variety of places including Texas, Alabama, Utah, Virginia, Australia, and most recently, Japan. This has helped foster a love for travel and experiencing new cultures. Mrs. Jennifer is passionate about working with children, is a fur-mom to a few cats and one very sassy doodle. In her free time, she loves reading a good book, listening to music, and catching up with friends and her family.

Gloria is a registered and licensed occupational therapist with more than 30 years of experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University, master’s degree from Quinnipiac University, and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. Gloria has served children and adults in various settings and is passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to learn, participate, and thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, watching sports, hiking, attending festivals, and learning to play pickleball.

Mrs. Domonique, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over six years of experience supporting toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children as they develop communication skills. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and earned her Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Speech-Language Pathology. Mrs. Domonique is a member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA). 


Domonique has experience working with children with speech and language disorders, autism spectrum disorder, bi/multilingual children and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs. She values building meaningful relationships with families and believes that parents and caregivers are essential partners in a child's communication journey. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care and encourages families to maintain and celebrate their heritage language, recognizing that multilingualism is a strength and an important part of a child's identity and communication development. 


In her free time, Mrs. Domonique loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying restaurants, reading and traveling.
